The Nuremberg code is an international law document establishing guidelines over the ethics of using human beings in medical experiments. The law established 10 points for permissible medical experiments. This law demands that voluntary consent must be given before any medical experiment can be conducted. The voluntary consent must be completely free from any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, over-reaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion (The University Of North Carolina At Chapel Hill). The law also demands that the people who agree to become test subjects for medicine have adequate knowledge and comprehension of the subject matter so as to make the decision completely voluntary.
