Hello my name is Derreck

I am a lifelong learner and a language learning enthusiast. I have been traveling through Latin America since 2023. My motivation for traveling is to immerse myself into the Spanish speaking cultures and to escape the rat race of the United States.

As I travel, I meet a lot of people who have studied English as a new language. I work as an online English essay writing tutor for high school and college students, but I do not know how to teach English as a new language. So, I decided to take a course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Now, I have a certificate in TEFL, and I want to practice the principles I learned in the TEFL course.

I am looking for opportunities to travel through new lands, meet new people, and help any lifelong learners in any way I can. As I travel, I meet a lot of people and coach them in learning languages. I am a native English speaker from the United States; I consider myself fluent in Spanish. I have some experience with studying other languages.
